To process your application, you will need to gather the documents:

  • The original notarized Affidavit.
  • Original newspaper cuttings containing the ads.
  • Prescribed proforma (available from the Publication Department) typed and signed.
  • A Compact Disc (CD) containing your name change matter in MS Word format.
    Passport-size photographs and self-attested ID/address proofs (Aadhaar, PAN, or Passport).
  • A Demand Draft or online payment receipt for processing fees.
    Once submitted, it typically takes 40 to 60 days for the notification to be published, after which you can download the digital copy to officially update your bank, passport, and Aadhaar records Etc.
